The grand opening of South Moon Under in Fairfax, VA at the swanky Mosaic District, left a lot of Fashionistas pleased on Tuesday evening. When I walked into SMU, I instantly felt the energy. The DJ was spinning, champagne and mini cupcakes were served, plus 20% off the entire store until 9:00pm. The highlight of my evening was when I got to chat it up with Emily Schuman of Cupcakes and Cashmere before she signed my copy of her new book, Cupcakes and Cashmere: A Guide for Defining Your Style, Reinventing Your Space, and Entertaining with Ease- buy it here.
I honestly can’t think of a better way to spend my Tuesday evening - or any evening for that matter. Now, how did I take advantage of their exclusive sale? When I laid my eyes on this gorgeous Blue Juice textured coat, I knew it would be coming home with me- and we’ve been happy and in love ever since.
